On the 19th March 2003 a coalition of countries spearheaded by America and Britain invaded Iraq.

The reason given for this invasion was to free the people of Iraq from the terrible dictatorship of Saddam Hussein and to clear Iraq of weapons of mass destruction.

As this conflict can be viewed from 2 view points. i.e Islamic and Western we have included links to well know Islamic News sites as well as Western News sites.
